I enjoy socializing and meeting new people (extroverts need this), music, some dining and dancing, bridge that's mostly social, many sports activities (started skiing and golfing recently so I could be with friends who do the same - not good at either but not bad enough to quit) and travel (Australia and New Zealand in 1995, Japan in 2007, Mexico in 2008). Stll need to visit Scotland, see Hawaii some day, maybe China or parts of Europe, sail in Greece........... dreamer!

A favourite activity group is UK Connexion - dancing, pub meals, golf and pool. I like to listen to classical music, jazz, and pop. I play the piano and am learning the viola but it's very slow (it was on my bucket list).

I've been accepted as a volunteer for the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics, Feb. & Mar. and look forward to staying in Burnaby with my sister. I work casual part-time. My future plans include travel and working on remaining healthy and solvent, if there is such a thing - life can be full of surprises.

I would like to have a relationship with someone who practices open, honest and interesting communication - I guess that means I like to talk and listen, but I know I don't like that full time, so feeling a comfortable silence with someone is good too! I appreciate a good sense of humour. Having a close male companion and intimacy is something I miss and I'd prefer to be involved with someone close to my age.

On a first date, I'd like to meet for a coffee and a walk, not necessarily in that order....... but I'm open to your suggestion too.
