I am a fun loving, passionate woman. I have many interests and love life! I am going to University part time, work full time and love learning about new things. I eventually want to go on an archaeological dig, travel to distant places, have new experiences. I love the 70's music, rock, oldies, classics, heck just about any type of music; going to the movies.

I will be going offline for a while. It seems a shame that I can get stood up for a confirmed date... and NO apologies.. I will not be allowing myself to be treated that way... It is not polite or proper. So, if I have chatted to you and you get no response??? I apologize... blame it on your fellow males who have treated a woman thus.... and think about how we can educate a man over the age of 40 to behave like a gentleman! (or tell me how to react).

I also wonder why people are so hesitant to say hello. I like to meet people and will comment on an interesting profile. If I do, say hello... you can say you are not interested, believe me we are all adults... a simple thanks, not interested will not crush me (and should not crush anyone else)... politeness is a wonderful commodity in this world... say hello, take a chance...you may discover a NEW FRIEND!

I want serious people to reply, and thus the following (I wrote to a man recently):

I wonder,,, why is it so hard to meet decent men on this site? i really want to meet a man to spend time with, go out and do things with, be intimate and have fun with.... do you find it is hard for you on this site too? some of my matches do not seem matches at all, and I am sure there are players of each sex ... I am not sure what I am doing wrong... hmmmmmmmmm.
I am guessing that SOME of the ones I have met and chatted with are only here for one night stands.. but I want more... am I being foolish? your input would be greatly appreciated... (hmmm maybe I should post THIS note on my profile?? lol-and so I have.)


NOTE: I do not understand the reasoning behind blocking someone. Is it me or does this seem a little juvenile due to our ages? I can understand a stalker, but if you chat with someone and agree it is not what you want... what the HELL is the purpose but to make you look stupid? I mean, please.... tell me why a man needs to hide, not have a pic, a very sketchy profile, one liner chats with BAD spelling and grammer, and then when you begin a half decent chat WHAM!!!! blocked. I mean come on... we are not 5 years old here...

Would love to hear some more feedback on this! lol (I am laughing and will continue to laugh for the rest of the day...)
