My marriage lasted 37 years. Obviously, monogamy and loyalty are a part of my value system. I am intelligent, quick witted, compassionate, and passionate. Making others laugh is important to me. I have enough to be self supporting and desire a lady who is as well. Clear communication and honesty can be expected from me. I really like to fish, deer hunt, take 1 to 3 day trips, explore Michigan, slow dance, hold hands, & kiss. None of these things are much fun alone, especially holding my own hand. The right gal can count on lots of public & private affection, as well as endless compliments. I have two sons (33 & 29) who are on their own. One has given me a terrific 2 1/2 year old grandson named Carter. I am generally conservative in my politics and values, but I am not a bible thumper. If you have fear for men, are extremely cautious, or think your pet gives you all the love you need, please leave me be. If you got hurt in your last relationship...no problem. So did I. I can and do cry; I also can be very strong; I can love. I am a better man than I've ever been. I will continue to work to improve. No return comes without some risk. Do you feel likewise?
