Hey there! Is there anyone who's real, down to earth, up for good times & a fun person out there? I don't want too much, I'm not going to run a huge list of "do's & don'ts" because no one is perfect & I sure don't expect that. I sure have enough smarts & sense to admit that I have faults & I have had my share of screw-ups. Don't need or want luggage or baggage, as I'm sure you don't (leave that crap on the airport conveyor belt). I'm not a liar or cheater, nor am I a manipulator. I'm no player and I'm not trying to "put a notch in my bedpost". Let me put it this way, I'm real turned off by people whose noses are so far up in the air that the general public can count their boogers. I don't walk around thinking I'm better than anyone else (except for robbers, murderers, rapists, politicians, some clergy, & other criminals). So, please don't come off as being someone who thinks they're better than everyone else. It's not the $$$ or the toys you have in life, you can't take them with you when you go, and the way I see it, when we die, I doubt very seriously that your dirt will be any better than mine. I'm a decent, employed, down to earth guy, who has alot to give to the right woman. Let's just go fishing, take a walk on the beach & watch the sunset, stop in at a beachside bar & grill, & see where things go from there. Life is way too short & time is ticking away. I try to keep an open mind & look at the positive side of most situations. I'm all about outdoor activities - fishing, hunting, camping, NASCAR, cooking (especially on the grill), let's just say everything and anything outdoors (I'll try it once & if I like it, chances are I'll keep doing it & I'll have another new "hobby"). Alot of the time I do things based on a thought or idea at that moment. I have enough "scheduling" in my work life & prefer not to schedule too much of my personal time. I have a dog, I like my beers (never hard liquor), I like to go hang out at the beach & love to grill out (yes ladies, a man who cooks & loves doing it for you). If you can handle those things, I welcome your emails. I'm not very complicated, I'm usually an overall happy person. Let's say I enjoy the simple pleasures & set out to find them. I'm a "transplant" originally from the northern VA / DC area. Although I'm from the DC area, I will tell you that I'm not much into the politics thing. I hate talking politics - probably because I was subjected to it every single night on the local DC news all those years. I am a US Army veteran & believe in complete respect and support for our military. Every American should respect and thank our current military & veterans for their service. Ladies, Mom & Dad raised me right. Chivalry is not dead. I always open the door, seat you, then close the door...pull out your chair, etc...will always go outside & do the "task at hand" when it's pouring rain, when you ask me to. I'll bring home flowers or a card (just to let you know I'm thinking about you). I listen to 80s (top 40) & country music. I absolutely DESPISE rap - they just left out the first letter "c". If you like "C"-rap, I'm probably not a great match for you. I am who I am & exactly what I am...I will not & can not "change" for anybody. Those days have long passed & I'm not about to pull a 180 to grab the attention of someone. Have fun & good luck.


***UPDATE*** - I do have a few things to add. I have to ask, dead serious here, just what in the HELL is going on with the simple grammar of some of you ??? The word is DEFINITELY - not DEFANATELY, God go back to school or use your spellchecker. You also need to have enough basic knowledge to figure out where & how to use "their, there, or they're". In English, we "ask", we don't "aks"; we go "with" not "wiff"; and "yo" is only one half of a toy on a string. There are enough of the "truly unschooled toothless wonders & uneducated street homies" still in West Virginia (among other places), if you can't spell or speak decent English, go join them.

Sushi IS NOT a treat. I spent time (a year) in Korea & saw all of that firsthand...BLAH!!! Believe me, you would be completely turned off by RAW anything if you've seen what I have. Details provided upon request.

Describe a first date ??? Not a real good idea, as I feel each date is going to be different, just as each individual is. It's best to just see how it rolls on & to change it up as it goes. Just be prepared for the true & honest attention that I give. If it all goes right, then be prepared to be treated like gold...someone who will ALWAYS know that she is appreciated.
