About Me
I enjoy meeting new people, I laugh way too much - it keeps me young-lol. I have travelled the world, rode horses in the carmel mountains in Israel, swam in the dead sea (educational) - rode fast bikes and drove fast cars whilst living life to the fullest. I'm 36, from England and I live in Del Ray, Alexandria. I love to walk my pooch, cycle and golf. I drink socially and I don't smoke.... well let me rephrase that - I do smoke but only when I'm on fire! My partying days - hmmmm...... been there, seen it, done it, rode the ferry, walked the tightrope and bought the t-shirt! I do still like to enjoy myself and would much prefer a night cooking (which I love to do) coupled with good company. I love a good steak and I miss my Yorkshire Pudding with mashed potato, gravy and........ OK now I'm hungry. I am low key, no drama - pretty much a level headed bloke. I love my family and my friends - and of course my pooch - he is the coolest pup out there, and for a rescue he is so chilled out. My favorite time of the year has to be the fall - such a pretty time of the year with the added bonus of no humidity! I love scary movies - not sure why as I am sure it takes a year off my life everytime I watch one. As for the future I am always on the lookout for change - it doesn't frighten me in the slightest. I would still like to travel and I am as spontaneous as the next chap.
I enjoy meeting new people and expanding my horizons - it's easy to stay in your comfort zone and just mull along in life. But I'm up for the challenge and whilst I'll admit I'm far from perfect I don't dwell on my short comings. Lets face it we all have our little quirks - we can only make the best of what we've been given. I have to say that I am not religious, in any way, shape, or form. I grew up in England where religion was not part of the norm and my parents did not expect me to go to church. I just want to be upfront and honest about that because I know how important religion is to most folk here in the US and I respect that.
First Date
I guess something low key - drinks, lunch, a movie - the possibilities are endless. I really don't expect too much out of someone - just be honest, trustworthy - oh and please, no axe murderers or knife weilding maniacs - dog lovers are always welcome and even if you are not keen on our canine counterparts I'm sure my boy can change your mind - he sort of rubs off on everyone he meets :o)
