| | My child has fledged, my job is secure, now it's time for me! I'm looking to add some fun and possibly romance to my life. I would like to meet someone who will compliment, rather than complicate, my life. I love big minds, small egos, laughing 'til my belly hurts, honesty and sharing experiences. Physique is not as important to me as internal qualities are. I work out a few times a week and enjoy water aerobics. I am a constant learner and thrive on increasing my understanding. I have travelled some and will do more in the future. I am a "take charge" kinda gal but I'm also very skilled in compromise. Although I've been known to "party" every now and then, I'm not interested in anyone with chemical dependencies. It's important to me that my friends be spontaneous, open minded, passionate, independant thinkers, nonjudgemental, and have a real zest for life. I like being creative, gardening, reading, comedies, and the occasional trashy reality show. Communicating is high on my list and I love to hear others point of view, as long as mine are dually respected. I'm not impressed by pomp and material things and prefer people who are sincere and humble. Although not into the bar scene, I do enjoy a wide variety of music and local music festivals. Blues and good ol' rock and roll are my fave's and no rap, country or polka's ;)
I consider myself a free spirit and love to colour outside the lines. One of my biggest kicks is to walk the Breakwater when there is a raging storm! I enjoy playing with my niece and nephews and my family plays a big part in my life. I like going to movies but may need to hold your hand during scarey parts :) Old fashioned values are big to me and I like a chivalrous man. Romance is also something I enjoy... gestures of affection (given and received) go along way.
