My initial profile message was more of a damp squid than the more reflective flying dolphin kind of person I am. Thank you ????, so I hope you all appreciate the newer version.

I am a very caring, honest, listening, considerate, appreciative person. Took me a long time to get here, but I have arrived. I can also be witty, funny, certainly crazy, offbeat, impetuous, clever, smart but always with my feet on the ground.

I am well travelled with a desire to continue and see much more of what this world has to offer. My interest are so many and varied, too huge to list here, enough to say my taste in music runs from classical to folk, rock to indie and can't dance to any but does not stop me from trying! I can enjoy a roller coaster as much as walking round a museum, appreciate food as much in a greasy spoon as a top grade restaurant, walking around a beautiful city seeing the buildings as much as drinking in them too.

My age is such that I respect that life is always far, far too short and one must enjoy it to the full, with the zest, confidence, open mindedness and passion all that one can muster!

I once went to a ballet with a lovely person and found that my enjoyment of this was increased tenfold because she was there. As is with life! So I am looking for someone to share all these things with, do with, recollect with and be with to enjoy it to the max!

To give you a little insight to me; When my daughter developed an interest in football and found that no-one took up the challenge, I stepped into the breach, coached and managed her team for 8 years, even to the extent of qualifying as an FA football coach. This was too one sided as I have a son too, both took an interest in ten-pin bowling he has continue be become a better bowler than me to the extent of representing Nottinghamshire at the under 24's level when only 19! Yes I am one proud Dad, as is their mother!

Well I hope you like what you have read here, if so then do not be shy come and say hi, as I like the bold approach as much as the shyness to. So either way, what only stops you, is you yourself! So even if you do not say hello to me, just remember that!

Besides the usual meal with candles, rose and the right wine, I also prefer the different, impetuous and out of the ordinary type more! Can't say what, just do as the mood, the idea and, most importantly, the person, as it presents itself at that moment in time!
