My name is Galen. I'm a pretty normal 25 year old guy. I like to be outdoors, especially with my two dogs! I'm an Iraqi War veteran, I've traveled all over, and I've lived in a lot of different places so I am quiet well read and cultured. I own a small house in West Denver. I'm not really into going out to the bars or clubs and trying to pick up on girls. I feel like if I'm going to meet someone it is just going to happen. In 10 years I see myself as having finished my medical degree and raising a family. Right now I'm trying to get my life started and have as much fun doing it as I can!

I don't put too much importance on first dates. I like to do something fun and try and keep it casual. Going out with someone new for the first time is awkward enough already. I like to do things like going to the art museum, the aquarium or zoo, and even the shooting range for those who like a little danger and excitement on a first date! I think the restaurant choice on a first date is crucial. Not so much as the cuisine but the atmosphere has to be right. I like to talk over dinner and see what we have in common. I like to talk about world events, politics, movies, books, and just life in general. I would consider myself a good conversationalist and I love to just sit and talk.
