with that out of the way....

I am looking for friendship and if more develops that is ok too....I am single, never married no kids. I am 5'9 and bottle blond :) I have been teaching for almost 30 years! YIKES!!! I love working on the computer and internet. I have taught home economics (family and consumer sciences as it is now called) and technology...specifically digital graphics for the last few years. I like going out for dinner, movies, talking, nothing fancy...I like looking for collectibles and antiques. I like kids (DuHHHH... I am a teacher), although I do not have any of my own.I have LOTS of great friends and family...I am a great cook, even though I do not cook just for myself. I like having fun and spending time with friends. I like art, science, mysteries, creating, sewing, etc......I like doing relaxing things and conversation. I grew up in the country in a small town and like small town and country things....simple things make me happy....the best relationship is one where you can be content sitting at your friend's house and you do not have to entertain each other....just being near each other puts you in a state of contentment.

I do not enjoy trying to impress or feel as if I should have to entertain someone...I actually do not like to 'date', I always met my closest relationships from work, school or through friends. My favorite type of food is Italian and a nice restaurant. I do like almost all types of food. I feel more comfortable with someone as tall as I am or taller. Someone with a good sense of humor is a MUST! Looking to find friends first and if it becomes more that would be even better!

1. I fear motorcycles...won't ride your bike unless you prove safe and sensible!
2. I do not golf...willing to learn (gone twice)must have a sense of humor
3. I do not enjoy hiking and camping...I want to be able to plug in my hair dryer..I enjoy being with nature and outside in the woods or pasture, but I do not want to go camp for days and hike up mountains with my sleeping bag.
4. I do not want to go on a first date with kisses and hand holding..just nice conversation
5. I enjoy kids and would have be friends with men with kids, even though I have none of my own.
6. I am not crazy about speed boats..unless you are a very safe boater and do not consume alcohol while driving your speed boat....but sailboats and yachts are great!
7. I do not enjoy crazy drivers..don't impress me with your freeway talents
8. I do not enjoy picnics..love barbecue's, but packing a basket full of cold foods and going to sit in the grass by the lake is not my idea of fun....the ants, bugs and poison ivy are not my favorite friends
9. I do not enjoy horror movies and films with lots of blood and gore.
10. I do not think I am a wine connoisseur but I will drink your wine any day!
11. I do not enjoy dancing unless I have had a few drinks..probably need some lessons
12. I do not enjoy rap and heavy metal music....but enjoy most everything else...
13. I do not enjoy going to professional sports, although watching them at home and cooking at home or having pizza delivered is ok...but I grew up playing sports and my family is involved in sports....
14. I do not enjoy going on long walks on the beach talking about our possible future...but picking up shells and splashing water on each other would be fun
15. I do not enjoy snow skiing, but I will ride the lift and drink by the fire...maybe snowboarding or the low easy slopes.
16. I do not enjoy water skiing (never been scuba diving) but love floating down a river in an inter-tube with a cold miller lite.
