I've just been informed this weekend that this dating site is known primarily for "quick lays". Well, if you're reading this and that is your intention, please delete my profile and move on. It's hard enough finding a genuinely nice guy...

I can't stop laughing that I just saw a guy's profile pic & it was of Matthew Broderick. How dumb do you think we are? LOL! Below is my original "description" from when I first signed up, but this whole experience is getting shady. I'm a picture person (unfortunately) and I hope it doesn't make me a bad person. I just believe that there has to be an initial attraction. The funny thing is - everyone says that they are "down-to-earth", tons of fun, well traveled - all of which may be true. But what makes you tick? What are your quirks? What might I dislike about you initially before falling in love and not caring? I'm totally scared of meeting someone new...getting to know them...eventually introducing them to my wacky family. But! I'm also excited. So...read below and let me know what you think.

I've been in this "fishing pool" for a long time. Just looking to see who is out there on this site, with hopes to meet someone nice, considerate, caring and fun to be with. I'm an intelligent, fun, outgoing and independent woman. I enjoy hanging out with friends, working out, traveling, or just staying in and watching a movie. I'm pretty easy going and hoping to find someone similar to get to know.

When it comes down to it - I'm a romantic. I like to be treated well and respected. I've been told I give more than I receive, but it's only because I haven't found the right balance. :)

I've decided at this very moment (having viewed a few profiles) that I MUST mention a few words of advice...

1. Do NOT put a child in a picture with you if it is not yours*
2. With that said, do NOT include pictures of you with other women*

* if you haven't added a note explaining who they are.

Drinks or coffee would be my ideal first date. As in all of the comedies you see on tv - dinner is too much of a commitment. What if you know within the first 30 seconds you can't finish your drink?! You're screwed! LOL!
