My headline describes the quality of life I'm seeking with my life partner. Yes, I'm looking for a friend first; someone to do things with, laugh with, hopefully grow a relationship with; but my ultimate goal is marriage, I won't hedge about it. I've been married twice and have been divorced from the second one for 10 years now. It's time to find my final dance partner.I'm a Christian lady looking for a Christian man with similar qualities to my own. I would like someone who worships regularly and that preferably would live close enough so that we might be able to go to church together. I'm honest, loyal, hard-working, dependable, compassionate and love the life that God has blessed me with. I'm fairly intelligent, have a thirst for knowledge and believe you're never too old to stop learning. I'm an animal lover and especially love cats; I live with 2. So the gentleman I seek should have a fondness for felines as well. I'm a creative person with my passions being in fiber arts (sewing, quilting) and I also do several different forms of jewelry design. I like to fish and I go crabbing too when I can (I was raised on the Chesapeake, so I've got them blue crabs in my blood!). With a partner, I enjoy a wide variety of things; movies, dinner out, concerts, art shows, theatre, and even a quiet evening in playing cards,board games or watching a movie. I'm pretty flexible and open to suggestions. I like to dance and enjoy old rock'n'roll (60's and 70's) for that. I listen to contemporary Christian music, country, oldies, and just about anything except that rap stuff. I still work full time, but would like to build my skills in my hobbies so that by the time I retire I can be selling some of my creations and make a little pocket money. And I always want to keep learning; whether it's studying the Bible, or learning how to do a home repair, or learning a new jewelry technique; I never want to stop feeding those brain cells! I guess I would be considered conservative in my politics and viewpoints; when it comes to ethics, I try to follow God's word. I'm stable, easy-going and not into drama and ego. I want a man I can honor and respect, one who will cherish me; and together, I want to walk into many sunsets. Will you come walk with me?

I think a first date should involve going/doing something fairly quiet, so you can talk and get to know one another. So, lunch or dinner at a nice place is a good idea. Then maybe a walk near the water; we have several places here that are nice for that. Or even just meeting for coffee is fine. Perhaps afterwards, we can go to the beach and take a walk into the sunset together.
