My life is filled with things I love to do - my work is creative and fulfilling and my play-time is full of fun and spontaneous adventure. Having a partner to share and enjoy play-time as well as to talk about the day, vent about whatever, laugh at the latest ridiculous thing we saw, and to analyze the effects of the latest economic policy is more than I can hope for.

Aside from my day job, I am a professional musician with an amazing group of entertainers. I am also a visual artist with a few produced pieces. If you know who Bill Monroe is, then we'll get along just fine! (I actually have a broad musical background and appreciate almost every genre'.) I admit being partial to acoustic music and tight harmonies.

I find the humor in most situations and have a very contagious laugh - usually laughing at my latest faux pas (like this profile).

Even though I play tennis, have a couple of bikes, hike, ski as much as possible, and all the other regular "I live in Colorado and love it" sports - I am not a fanatic about anything except tennis. (No, I don't expect you to play.) It would be great if you ski.

I have seen a good deal of the world and experience other cultures first hand rather than hearing it from a tour guide. Haven't decided on my next destination, but my passport is current.

Finding someone without baggage at our age is delusional, but I prefer that it fit in the overhead bin. You, too, will have your own interests and passions, know who you are and what you want from life, can hold up your side of a conversation with conviction and opinions that are well thought out, read more than tonight's TV line-up, and don't mind telling me I'm full of it. Please be socially liberal, fiscally responsible, in reasonable physical shape, and have a FaceBook page with more than 3 friends.

A great first date is one where we can share about our lives so we can decide if there is enough interest for a second date. Possibilities: dinner, a baseball game, coffee (or tea), over a scotch, talking about the latest installment at the MCA or Kirkland, or a stroll down the street with my incredible dog, Ferris Bueller.
