Hello and Happy Holidays!

I'm 47, very athletic and looking for a partner who is equally dedicated to fitness and the mind/body integration. I teach spinning classes, weight train for function and fitness and love to run, albeit slowly! I've worked in high tech marketing for 20 years and am working towards taking those skills into a full-time position in the fitness industry. I graduated UCSB with a 3.65 GPA, love(LOVE) to travel (favorite destinations so far - Egypt and Costa Rica) I also am rejuvenated by dinners with friends and family - as a note, discussion about politics and religion is typically a given around our dinner table, accompanied by many bottles of wine! I am a miltary kid, though grew up predominantly between DC and Baltimore....Music wise, I love R&B, funk, smooth house - Stevie Wonder, Keyshia Cole, MJB, Kaskade, Samantha James - been listening to Lalah Hathaway's, Self Portrait over and over again the last few weeks. I love to sing out loud and dance when the rhythm moves me (which can lead to a few stares every now and again.) My life's mission is to honor the integration of body and mind and share that message with others, smile at strangers and keep open and hopeful to what lies ahead.

As a military kid, I learned at a young age embracing diversity is the natural way of the universe. If you are prejudiced, bigoted or have anything nasty to say about our president (or anyone else), I know we wouldn't be compatible, let alone get through dinner. I also believe we are responsible for not only taking care of ourselves, but taking care of each other and our planet. I believe family, friends, relationships are what make life richer, harder and happier.

What makes me unique - I like pickled anything...except pigs feet - well, maybe....also crazy for smoked fish.....and beef jerky. And, though I try to watch what I eat, I would not say no to a perfect steak, baked potato, salad and a cabernet so good it would make you cry!

I truly believe in enjoying each day to its fullest - I've seen how short life can be. I've been separated for 2.5 years, the divorce almost completed. I opted to have no children, and have no step-children, but certainly would welcome amazing children from an amazing man!
