About Me
Hey there! I'm a fun-loving guy who loves a girl that can both dress down for a sporting event and dress up for a night out on the town. I'm a sucker for a great conversation and intelligence is a must!!! I'm not positive exactly what that means but lets start with decent grammar and go from there (periods and commas can work wonders for the reader by the way!). I swear I'm not overly critical, I just think it says something good about the person when they can communicate the right way. Other than the smarts I really don't think I have a "type,” but a girl who has done some traveling and maybe knows a second language would be a plus, but obviously not a necessity.

I grew up in the valley and just moved back after a 7 year hiatus to start my PhD over at ASU. Pretty thrilled to be back around the friends, fam, and sunny days! I definitely wouldn't call myself a workaholic but I'm a guy who has goals and a plan for the future that I'm working to get to. She should probably be similar in that way, I don't have a thing for people that take work and life too seriously. Know what I mean?

Things I like:
-killer smiles
-the sun (I kinda worship it actually!)
-Sunday football
-taking random trips...haven't been to Mexico since I been back yet and I'm PINING for it!
-my pumas (so comfortable)
-stand-up comedy
-Latin American cinema...don't worry I'll put the subtitles on for you
-independent ladies
-women that have grace...its a key X factor that different ladies exhibit in different ways which makes it hard to define...sometimes its a walk, sometimes its gestures and mannerisms.
-women that have a keen and witty yet forgiving sense of humor (poke fun at me or other people but do it with some style! being mean is just...well mean, I guess :))
-and the list goes on...

Things I dislike:
-disloyal people
-religious fanaticism...actually fanaticism in general is kinda sketchy
-almost any personality on Fox news (do they really believe all of that stuff or is it just to get a rise out of certain people???)
-any Cardinals, Suns, D-backs, Coyotes, or ASU game that ends with the bad guys winning
-Drama/overly dramatic people (If I need this I'll just watch the Spanish channel between Noon and 4)
-and the list doesn't go on too much...I like more things than I dislike I think

Things that make me laugh:
-Any episode of George Lopez, Family Guy, Weeds (showtime scored with this one), King of Queens (actually just looking at Jerry Stiller cracks me up), and a few more TV shows. I'm not huge on TV but some stuff is hard to turn off.
-every other Will Ferrell movie. The ones in between somehow suck miserably...or is it just me?
-Almost every Seth Rogen movie (he's a star)
-the fact that drive up ATM's come equipped with braille. hmmmmm.
-guys that go to the gym to look at themselves in the mirror for three hours (you're a sexy b***h! we get it!)
-old ladies that still go to the store and use checks to pay (oh come on, they're adorably stuck in the past! I just hope you're not in a rush)
-my own lame and stupid jokes. oddly enough I'm the first and last one laughing at my own quips...sad, I know.

Things that make me cry (or at least want to):
-Any R.E.M. song (what is that guy's deal anyway?)
-Any Meg Ryan movie. Not because of the storyline, but because the poor girl is forced to play the SAME PART every freakin' movie!! can anyone say type cast?
-my electric bill...my utopia includes free A/C. Wanna come?
-ugly babies (poor little coneheads never even had a chance! I'm kidding by the way)
-the memory of last call being at 12:45 (remember that nonsense?!)
-grading horrendous essays/exams and giving bad grades (I'm quickly getting over it though)

Ok, I've rambled far too much but I appreciate anybody who has gotten to the end of this without falling asleep! :) I like to think I'm fun, kind, thoughtful, and considerate. If you want to give me the chance to show it, hit me up!

First Date
I think a first date should be like a intro college course; informative, uncomplicated, and easy to ditch!! Because you never know right? :) Something casual is usually what I would opt for but I'm pretty open. Anything from a walk in the park to meeting up for drinks is fine by me.
