I'm an author and have been published in a few books and am working on my own book as well. I love writing short stories, poetry, and songs as well as positive things that inspire others. I have also hosted an internet radio show and my interviews there and the written interviews at my website have been a source of inspiration to women all over the world.

I'm very much into books about the law of attraction, other uplifting, positive books, and have been lucky to be able to cross paths with and interview some amazing women authors who I have admired over the years who will be featured in the book I'm working on.

I have a great sense of humor that some say is a dry sense of humor, and I am blunt at times and never afraid to speak my mind. I love to laugh and be silly at times, love going to the movies, and I enjoy going to hear live bands play and like many different kinds of music. I'm a very compassionate person and love helping others, and I have a big heart with a lot of love to give to the right person.

Although I do not have kids, I am open to dating someone who has kids.

I'm not perfect so I am not looking for perfection in someone, I think we all have flaws and I think life would be pretty borng if everyone and everything were perfect all the time. I am looking for a guy who will love me for all that I am, and all that I am not. I like a man who has a great sense of humor and can make me laugh, but one who can also be serious when needed and someone who is a caring compassionate person.

I love going to the movies, reading, working out, listening to music, helping others, hanging out with friends. I am really passionate about supporting causes I believe in.

Music has been a big part of my life, I grew up with my dad playing guitar and us kids always singing, still love to sing once in a while. I love rock especially old classic rock, love the music from the 80's still as well, and I like some 50's, 60's, and 70's. I don't really like rap, other then that I love all kinds of music, and I love to go hear live bands, have a few musician friends I love to go hear play when they aren't on the road touring. As far as new music I love anything from Kid Rock, Parachute, Nickelback, Shinedown, Maroon Five, Puddle Of Mud, One Republic, Rob Thomas, Carolina Liar, Chris Daughtry, U2, No Doubt, David Cook, Katy Perry, Foo Fighters, Lenny Kravitz, Adelle, The Frey, Pink, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Black Eyed Peas, Plain White T's, Jason Miraz, Kings Of Leon, Kelly Clarkson, The Script, Green Day, John Mayer, Lifehouse, and on the country side Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Martina, McBride, etc. This is the short list.

A first date is just something simple to meet one another,talk, and see what happens, go from there. But I am really here to meet someone so please do not ask me for a yahoo id to send messages back and forth. I would much rather talk on the phone a few times, then meet. So since I have been doing this online thing, I have been asked many times what am I looking for in a man. And though it would be easy to have a list of qualities I am looking for that I could ask you about and check each one off of my list, I have learned it's not about the list at all.

I'm not shopping for the best deal out there in a man, and I'm not looking for the man who I can say has the most check marks on a list that I have. I believe we are all much more then just a list.

I have learned the hard way that when you have your own personal list of things you would like in another person, you could check off everything on that list and it still doesn't guarantee that you have found your so called soul mate, or partner in that person. I've also learned that it's not all about the way a person looks either.

I believe if we become so fixated on the way a person looks or who has the most check marks that we can check off of our list, we might miss out on someone amazing. Some of the greatest things in life don't always come in a pretty package, and the thing is until you open that package and really see what's inside, you never know how valuable that gift might be.

I believe you can't judge a book by it's cover just as you cannot judge a person, until you really get to know them. We all have our stories and many things we all experience in life and you never really know what someone's story is, until you take a chance and talk to them.

I think we have to keep out hearts open to anything and everything and be willing to look at those we might not ordinary look at, because if we don't, we might just miss the one and only person, who I believe is out there for each and everyone of us.

Life is a journey and meant to be experienced with all the good it has to offer us and also the bad. It's not perfect, just as we are not perfect either. Sometimes we have to be willing to go through the bad things in life to get to the great things in life, and sometimes that means going through hard times and heartache, but in the end I believe if we are open to all the possibilities, chances are we will find that person who is truly meant for us.
