My name is John. I haven’t dated in 10 years. I am looking for a lady who is well educated. A classical background would be advantageous. I do not care how many degrees you have. What I am really looking for is a woman who can think for her self. Someone who doesn’t believe everything she is told. A lady who can observe nature and draw her own conclusions. A woman whose interests may include alchemy, astronomy, mathematics and theology. I would like an individual who looks up into the night sky in utter amazement. Ancient Egypt is my number one interest. I have recently begun to understand the finer distinctions of hieroglyphics. It would be delightful to share my insights with someone who could appreciate them.

My idea of a pleasant evening involves a fireplace, a bottle of wine, my cat and a good book. I would dearly love to add the company of a good woman. This is not to say that my interests are purely academic. I have engaged in a truly diverse collection of activities. Conflict is not one of them. I would sooner leave than fight. My Scandinavian heritage does not permit open conflict. This does not preclude the possibility of heated debate. I’m Swedish not spineless. Children are truly a gift from god. I would however prefer no gifts of my own. I enjoy spending time with kids. I think we can learn far more from them than the adults. Beware if you have kids I will probably get along better with them than you.

I posses a Knowledge of all craft. I can build a home from scratch. My understanding is deeper than just being able to organize and manage materials. I actually appreciate their nature. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a mason. My current mentor is Ed Leedskalnin.
I’m also a good friend of Ben Franklin, Michael Faraday, Isaac Newton and John Hutchinson. I would prefer a face-to-face get-together. I do not text or spend my life on the phone. I would enjoy a spirited conversation over coffee.

I’m searching for something special. I’m not in any rush. I’ve seen some forty years. I have learned much from my observations of humanity. I know myself. If you have evolved past conflict, if it is not necessary to speak simply to hear yourself talk, if you can just be, please contact me. I realize anyone who has lived comes with a certain amount of baggage. The real trick in life is being able to put it down and smell the proverbial roses. I have no problems working hard for something. That being said, I would however like to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If possible I would prefer it not be a freight train.

I’ve had this profile for a few weeks now. The general gist is that I appear authoritarian. This was neither my intent nor the case. Actually I live up to my heritage. I’m more egalitarian. I do not wish to lead or follow but walk side by side in perfect union. I take myself far to seriously and know it. I will be the first to make light of my eccentricities.

It is true that I place great emphasis on wisdom and knowledge. From these attributes compassion, sincerity and understanding are born. I have made every mistake once. I do however endeavor to keep down to a minimum. My apologies to the few who have made contact. My schedule doesn’t permit me the time I would like. It seems that the people I would like to meet most live the farthest away.
