I moved to Phoenix (live in the Arcadia area) in June '09 and have been really enjoying it! Prior to the move I had stints in Tucson, LA, Denver and was raised in NYC.

When it comes to 'describing' myself, here are a few random tidbits in no particular order:

I have a huge passion for living a healthy life style; eating right (aside from the occasional slice of pizza or juicy burger), lifting weights, along with finding fun and creative ways to sweat are always in the daily regiment. I also do personal/nutritional training on the side and get a tremendous amount of satisfaction helping others with that aspect of their lives.

My mother in an artist, psychotherapist, published author, practices homeopathy, along with dream analysis... some would call her a hippy. My father, on the other hand, is an OBGYN, has more of a "take this pill and call me in the morning" approach to his work, played college basketball, and is a total jock and sports fanatic. Trust me when I tell you that this dichotomy made for a very interesting upbringing!

The mountains are my playground. Hiking and skiing are two of my biggest passions. The sense of accomplishment after reaching the summit of a challenging hike or storming down a steep powder field on freshly waxed skis, nothing like it! I grew up spending my winter and summer breaks in Aspen, CO and that's where the passion began.

I speak quite candidly about pretty much everything. Most people find it refreshing, and at times, pretty damn funny. And for those that don't, well, I guess you don't have to listen :)

I love animals and would like to own a dog one day.

I have been quite fortunate to have traveled the globe on both business and pleasure, but I still have many more places to see and explore; Machi Piccu or African safari anyone?

I LOVE food! It's actually one of my favorite topics of conversation. I'm the guy at the table that has his fork (or spoon, depending on the meal) in everyone's plate (or bowl). I've even been known to visit neighboring tables in a crowded restaurant to try their food... kidding, well, I may have done it once. Did I tell you that I love food?

While I know some woman may not find this a 'turn-on', I do love sports, most of all football. I grew up playing and watching and it's definitely another one of my passions. Having grown up in NYC, I'm a big time Jets fan. If it helps you any, our rookie QB, Mark Sanchez, I'm told he's pretty hot. In fact, I think I may have a man crush on him.

I don't watch a lot of TV but I do love my HBO: Entourage, True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm - they all rock!

With regard to my 'ideal match':

She's smart... Intelligence is so sexy! She enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and being active. She loves spending time outdoors... finding a hiking and/or ski partner would be awesome! She's passionate about what's important to her. She's independent, but still loves spending time with me. She enjoys food. Liking football is not a must, but it would be a plus :) She's bold and not afraid to speak her mind. She has an adventurous side and is willing to be spontaneous from time to time.
