Such a serious question first off the bat...Clear or Colored Lights, which do u prefer?? much like the Toilet Paper Question...Over or Under...you would be surprised what was more common...lol...okay you can tell I'm starting to take this site as more of a daily amusement....sad but true...and why???

Hi, my name is Brenda, figure that is a friendly way to start this profile off, I struggled trying to define what I was looking for, Friend, Dating, Long Term...when I came up with Can I Have my Cake and Eat it Too?..lol...confused I say, and only for one real good reason.

I do not feel its a great start to any friendship to lie, I do not like it happening to me, and I will not do it to another!...I am dealing with Cancer, life threatening no...but more a nuisance...I have all my body parts, granted right now I have half a head of hair...but I do believe it makes a great conversation topic and I am way hip than the punk rockers...lol...but I do still have a awesome personality and smile...and as one man said...Beauty is not Skin Deep!

I continue to have treatments, and suffer from pain which is being dealt with but it all takes time...appears everything takes time...but I am a strong willed woman....I am Happy with myself...and I have learned to eat alot of humble pie in the past year...does that make me a bad person?? NO...it means I can endure alot....and still keep smiling and looking forward to when I can say I am Cancer Free!

So with that out of the way, here's my shot at making my profile seem different then the rest, I've been single now 6 years, was married over 20...have one fantastic daughter who is now all grown up...boohoo, and is currently traveling before settling into studies.

I am not a Beauty Queen, but like to think of myself as the "Runner Up"..smiles..I am down to earth, play well in the sandbox as long as you don't throw sand, then you might see me drive your Tonka Truck into the Lake.lol.

Life is a Giant Snakes and Ladder's game, we have to really take advantage when we get on that ladder, but not be totally disappointed if we slide down the snake abit...we all are capable achieving anything we put our minds too...What brings you happiness? and do it often...as you never know when that Snake will show up.

I am a women with a huge heart, very sensitive to others feelings, sometimes to my disappointment..."I believe we give what we want in return" thus making a excellent basis to friendship, and maybe more.

Great sense of humour is a must, Life in General is a Journey...and you have to enjoy and laugh and be able to Laugh at yourself, Humour is the healer of all.

Originally was searching for Prince Charming...but he really doesn't exist...and I am not the Lil Mermaid!..granted if you saw my bathroom floor after bathing you may think otherwise...lol

So...is it really possible to "Have Your Cake and Eat It"...good question...I want my cake to be Happy with Himself, Enjoy Life...Take people who they are, Compassionate, and Passionate...and My Best Friend and Lover...and see me as the Same....my Cake granted will have Whip Cream too boot..lol...

So take a chance on meeting me...I may or may not be the person you seek...but you never know.. I make a great friend and if given an opportunity in life a wonderful lover.....take it from there....

I am not 100% liberated...I enjoy the car door opened for me.....and my favorite flower are simple white daisies...now men do the math....Daisies cost $5.00 versus $30 plus for roses...I am a women who can blend well into the recession...smiles

I would prefer to just meet over a casual cup of coffee and hang out at the beach enjoying the view of the beautiful lake...nice way to meet...no pressures...good coffee....great views...(no not down my top)..lol...if u have a 4 legged buddy..go to the dog beach and walk...miss my dog...and tired of pretending I have a dog when down at the beach...some people see no humour in you throwing a ball for their dog???
