I need someone who complements me...not completes me. My philosophy on relationships is this, "If you each put the other person first then no one is ever second." I also believe that men think women try to change them but that's not the truth. The truth is that women accept things from men while they are dating that they wouldn't accept in a relationship and so when it moves to that stage they stop accepting those things. Men perceive it as the woman trying to change them and women perceive it as the natural progress of things. lol So...I've learned that if he's not great while dating he's not going to get better in time or with a change in status.
Everything I put out I expect to get in return, it's only fair. I'm honest, sincere, intelligent, caring, supportive, understanding, trusting, affectionate, often described as sweet, attractive, fun, sarcastic, and willing to take risks. I treat people the way I would like to be treated and that's enough for me.

As for things I like to do...I'll try just about anything once. I enjoy reading, writing, dancing, hiking, fishing (need to get my license), concerts, movies, dining out or in, cooking for more than just me, rollerskating, but it's been forever since I've been...would make a great first date;)...lots of things.

BTW I may live in Coxsackie (which is about 30 miles south of Albany) but I work in Guilderland (if you know where Crossgates Mall is, then you've been in Guilderland). Oh and when I list myself as a divorced woman, umm was married at 22 and it lasted less than 2 years so it feels like a completely other life lol.

Anything works for a first date...just so long as I know ahead of time. Dinner and movies are always nice, but a day at an amusement park can be just as great. Hiking at a state park, playing paintball, horseback riding, rollerskating...am up for anything including a picnic in the park. As long as there's good company and great conversation...that's more important than what you are doing
