Okay, don't laugh but what I'm looking for is my best friend. I know it sounds so mundane but I've recently realized that the best relationships that I've had with men have been true friendships. Really easy going conversations. Honest opinions. Spur of the moment get togethers that turn out to be better than planned events. Talks on the phone, then realizing an hour has passed. Now if i could only combine this with a true love. Someone that I can really talk to.Look forward to seeing . When we are alone, we drive each other crazy. When we are with our friends all we can think about is being alone. He is a confident and content man, not a show off. (yes, there is a difference.) He loves his family and friends. He is considerate and patient. He talks about his feelings, good and bad. (doesn't keep it bottled up). Likes to travel, doesn't have to plan it. Spur of the moment is great. He will make me smile and laugh. I promise i'll make him laugh too. I want an equal partner, not someone to take care of me, because I can take care of myself. Being dependent isn't attractive, being happy and self assured is. I have great family and friends. I have many interests and I stay active and busy. All that is missing is my "best friend" to share it all with. I know that YOU are out there, all we have to do is find each other. Maybe this is the vehicle that will get us there. I hope so. Maybe meet at a park and go for a walk. Get to know each other alittle. Then maybe go somewhere and have a glass of wine and see what happens.
