I'm not very comfortable talking about myself,so suffice it to say I am told by my friends that I'm fun AND funny(usually without meaning to be!),intelligent,extremely loyal,a good listener,fair- & open-minded,compassionate.I'm also told that I have a great smile & beautiful eyes (is that too narscissistic?).I love live music, my favorites being reggae,classic rock, classical,& just about anything played on WXRT.I enjoy sports,though mostly as a spectator these days.My favorite sport is baseball, & I bleed Cubby blue!I also like basketball,& would probably enjoy hockey a lot more if only I could follow the puck!I have no objection to watching a football game as long as I don't have to don a parka & boots to do it.I love animals, but don't have any pets currently.I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say I think I'm not your typical woman, because I'm basically very low-maintanence.That's not to say I don't appreciate being treated well & taken care of.As a nurse, my personality is that of the caregiver.However, I'm very willing to learn how to receive, as well.I'd really like to find my special someone who likes to go out & have a good time, get dressed up once in a great while, but is also very comfortable in jeans & a sweater/t-shirt, sipping****ails or wine & watching the sunset.I'm very down-to-earth but not especially "earthy".I'm VERY family-oriented & am close with my 2 sisters & my brother, as well as their 7 children collectively.I'll stop here so we have something left to talk about when I hear from you... 1st off,I'd like to be asked on this 1st date.I guess my "ideal" 1st date would be a quiet,simple dinner or maybe appetizers & drinks,someplace where we could talk casually & candidly.Maybe a smooth jazz band for atmosphere too.I'm a true romantic @ heart,so I'd want to leave the rest of the planning & specifics up to you.No frills needed,but if you arrived bearing flowers or chocolate, you'd probably already have won a piece of my heart.Hopefully the date would end with each of us eagerly & excitedly awaiting our next encounter!
