I am looking for that special woman to date and possibly spend the rest of my life with(My new best friend). I have been single for a little over a year now. Just finished a almost 4 year relationship with who I thought was the "one", but obviously that didn't work out or I wouldn't be on this website. To stay on the positive side, it was a learning experience and I have a whole lot better idea of what I am looking for in a woman. I want someone who is honest and happy with who they are as person, one who is active and has a positive personality and outlook on life. I am honest, very generous and a down to earth type of guy. These are some of the same qualities I seek in a mate. I am passionate about family, having fun in life, my buisness, outdoor activities, the environment and life in general. I'm thankful for having determined and loving parents who raised their children with good morals, values and ethics. In my time away from work I enjoy working out, running with my dog and watching movies. I like to read magazines, go to concerts, travel to new places and eat out, as well as staying home and cooking some good food. I also like to go camping, boating and riding four wheelers. I grew up in Johnston and have lived in this area my whole life. I graduated from ISU in 94' with a bachelor of science degree and two minors. I have worked extremely hard (too hard) to establish my buisness and have now realized that there is more to life than work. I have never been married but look forward to it. I don't have any kids but would like to some day if I find the right woman. I like Nickleback, Newer Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney, some Ozzy, a little Hank and to many other artists to list.

A lot of that would depend on what kind of things my date likes to do. The best first date is probably dinner out at a quiet restaurant, giving us a little time to get acquainted, maybe a drink if we hit it off and hopefully some stimulating conversation.
