Yes, admittedly a very cheesy headline, but at least I'm keeping with the theme...

Anyway, I recently moved to Edmonton from Toronto and live in a condo just off Whyte Ave. I like my neighbourhood because I can walk to pretty much everything. I'm originally from small-town Ontario...very small...my hometown has only one stoplight...yes, you could walk to everything! I have loved trains ever since I was a kid and now I work for the railroad in a management position.

I am quite active and do something athletic almost everyday. I run quite a bit & do half-marathons. I also bike & swim and do triathlons, but I'm not really that competitive. Sometimes I like to mix it up and just go to the gym.

I like to keep busy & do things that help me grow as a person. I also like acquiring new skills. For example, I am learning how to play golf right now. (Yes, I'm a hack.)

I also like to think of myself as a bit of an intellectual, even though I'm pretty much a goof-ball. I like to read every night - usually non-fiction/history, but right now it's "Atlas Shrugged."

I'm looking for someone who is compassionate & giving. She's positive & outgoing, with personality. She's got that balance between tom-boy and elegance. She will challenge & inspire me. I'm really looking for someone who has enough in common to be a best friend.
