I am a regular girl-person making my way in the world sums it up. I am educated, perhaps overly intellectual (can't turn my inquiring mind to the "off" position") and am a child at heart which means I like to be positive, open, laugh and play!

I enjoy trying new activities, love the outdoors and am confident and unpretentious. I love dancing, live music, artistic endeavors and exploring the adventures that New York holds. While I am a free spirit, it is tempered by the normalcy of a great family and childhood. I tend to shy away from folks with horror stories (typical dysfunctions are fine!) in their families, I don't have a language for that and would rather not...

On a first date, I would like to meet for some activity e.g. taking a walk to see if there is conversational chemistry. We can then have coffee/tea or other light bite. I like a setting that is non threatening and not clouded by alcohol - if there is chemistry the latter won't be necessary to "warm up".
