My job is technology based so, in a way, I'm kind of a nerd. But I like to think I'm a cool nerd :-)

When I get home, I like to relax and watch the next episode of whichever TV DVD box set I happen to be into at the moment. My favorite shows include 24, LOST, The Office, House and Burn Notice, but I'm always open to suggestions.

Afterward, I prefer to go outside (during spring/summer/fall) and be active. I'll go for a jog, walk to the lake, catch dinner downtown, or take a book to a coffee shop. At any given moment, I'm usually reading three books, a fiction, a non-fiction, and a technical/text book.

In addition to my regular job, I do side work involving software that one day may grow into my own business. It's really more of a hobby than a second job because I certainly do like it.

I love discussion. Whether it be about ideas, personal philosophies, current events, the human condition/emotions, psychology, art, music, science, technology, or simply what the surrounding people are doing (I'm a people watcher). Conflicting viewpoints are great, not because of the arguing/debating, but because of the exchange of knowledge and broadened understandings.

My experiences, adventures, triumphs and blunders are the most meaningful things I cherish, as well as all the people I meet along the way.

I like to vary the details a little, but any setting that provides an atmosphere for discussion and getting to know someone.
