(I've also been told I can try to be too witty for my own good when I contact people here - so sorry if that's the case but I mean no harm!)

BUT - Why is it that it's always the guy that has to contact the girl and not the other way round? I promise I won't assume you just want me for my body if you do!

The only thing I would say is that I have a number of women friends but none of these, so far, are anything but friends. I would also add that much prefer the company of women and that I can be caring, affectionate, loyal and amusing. (or,so, they say)

I am a published children's author and am in the middle of writing my next book but still have time for the rest of my life!

I'm a serious strength trainer (no steroids) and class myself as very fit.
I have plenty of other interests but amongst my most enduring are other people, food and cookery, the arts and music.

I'm not really into tourism but do visit other countries when the mood takes me and when there is something specific I want to do. But, then, I was there in Paris '68.

(By the way, my hair started going grey when I was in my twenties!)
