Hi, I'm new to this online thing and exclusively here on POF, I guess that makes me fresh fish. I'm optimistic that this avenue will help me in my search to find that one special woman that I have yet to meet. The woman I am looking for is pleasant, sincere, emotionally available, and capable of appreciating, and wanting a truly committed monogamous relationship based on love, trust, honest communication, intimacy, and mutual respect.
This woman I desire, Does not need to rescued by a knight, a once a night, a knight in shining armor or Prince charming, and would be happy with an average man that is devoted to, and adore's her. She is emotionally secure and is happy with herself. She counts her blessings, not her troubles. She has traditional family values, INTEGRITY, ETHICS, and A STRONG MORAL CHARACTER, has lips that don't lie, and is honest even when it can be difficult.
She is mature, intelligent, and down to earth,She is feminine, with a touch of tomboy
She embraces life, and is not superficial, materialistic, or shallow. She is loyal,sentimental, sensuous, romantic, and passionate
She has the common sense that's not so common anymore,and has a great sense of humor.
She understands, and appreciates a man that is willing to take the time to get to know her well, before expectations of anything more

She has eye's that I can get lost in, and they only say come-hither to me. Her eye's know how to say things you could never describe with words. She can feel comfortable talking with me "& does " about anything.
She does not find it difficult to overlook my shortcoming's, imperfections, and flaws

She never will have an intreview with Jerry, Maury, or Steve. She has faith in God, & is always in my thoughts when we are apart. She found me interesting enough to read all of my profile, and is not afraid to initiate, and say HI!, not just leave a footprint showing she viewed me

She is not fishing here with a net & She wont find me feeding at the bottom of the pond.She is very hard to find, would be terrible to lose, and impossible to forget
She considers " this little fishy" a good catch , a keeper, and has the right bait to remove him from this pond, and has no more use for her rod and reel. If this fishy can't be found I would be happy with fruit. Just 1 sweet Michigan peach,ripe but not spoiled,& ready to be picked that hopefully has not had many worms in it.

ME- I'm NOT rich, poor, tall or flashy. At present I am clean shaven.
I am 100% Italian, 3rd generation born in the US, don't speak the language but hope to someday visit the land of my ancestor's : info included only to stop emails asking if I am Hispanic, Middle Eastern , ect.

I enjoy holding hands, candle light, mutual spoiling, slow dancing, moonlite walks and midnight talks, and I find that sharing a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace with a nice, attractive woman combined with stimulatling conversation hard to top on any man's list.
If you are one of those women that knows her way around a kitchen, or is capable of holding her own in a game of chess, you're even more unique and rare.

I love picnic's, BBQ's, roadtrips, exploring, comedy clubs, and cider mills in the fall.
I feel that a first kiss should never be rushed, but always remembered. Some of the Best feelings that I have ever had are those that have no words to describe them. If you have been fortunate enough to experience real love you know what I mean.

I am " not interested " in a wild type girl or hooks "baited with sugar". I never feel compelled to justify my life, persuits, morals, beliefs, or my toys with anyone

In my "private personal" time some of my intrest's / hobbies include photography, woodworking, reading and hunting.

I have no pet's , I like most pets. I tend to get along "best" with animal's that don't bite, are not venomous, don't try to claw my eyes out, " hump my leg " , pee on me, or is a habitual crotch-sniffer.
I have one adult child that is out on his own and feel no more need to donate more DNA. If you have children they WILL be warmly welcomed by me

I Checked my closet's and didn't see any Knight or Prince armor, helmet or sword. For you women that insist on armor, I would express a preference for something from the Conan, Achilles, Maximus, or Commodus collection.
There are no Prince gene's in my genealogy, but my mother thought enough of me to make sure that I learned how to treat a lady from an early age. ( if you can hear me ----THANKS MOM )
The kind of relationship I desire will start out as both sharing the same morals, goals,compatible with chemistry, and as we learn about and get to know each other grow slowly into true best friends. I would think a phone conversation prior to meeting essential ( even if you "are" a supermodel ) because I think doing so should let both of us know if we would like to meet or not, - - why waist your time and mine.

If after talking with each other, we decide we would like to meet, I think it would be less awkward for both of us if we met in a quiet, no pressure atmosphere in a public place like an outdoor cafe if the weather is nice for some coffee and pie or a banana split where we can get to know each other without distractions, and easy to make a courteous exit in case we find that we don't care for each other.
