I absolutely love travelling. I've been all over Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Carribean, and the South Pacific. Locally, I love going to great restaurants, whether it's fine dining, or a hole in the wall- great food is the key! :)

favorite things:

One of my favorite things is being outside on warm summer nights, whether it be at a local cafe, at some exotic travel location, an outdoor concert, or just laying in my own hammock. I also love renovating my home-I've done lots of the work myself!

my pets:

I absolutely love animals! If I wasn't a teacher, I'd work with animals in some capacity. My pets are an important and loved part of my family. They are my best buddies! :)

Ok, now for the shallow part.. I am fit and trim and you should be too! I know I'm not perfect, but I like to work out and eat healthy. I'm looking for a man who takes care of himself and his body. If you are overweight or a couch potato, I'm sorry, but I'm not the girl for you. Also, if you are over 40, I'm probably not interested. I usually date younger men, but older is ok too, to a point... My parents are very young looking, so older men remind me of my parents. Sorry....

I don't have a set idea of what a first date should be like, but I tend to lean towards meeting at a restaurant for dinner. I like to talk during a first date get to know the person I am on a date with. Dinner gives just enough time to get a taste of what a man is all about, but gives plenty of time to see if there is chemistry between us.
