About Me

I've built a contented life for myself and would like to find someone to share that contentment with.

I love just about anything outdoors, especially family gatherings at my parents lake house, fireworks, camping, music venues and more. I like to spend time with my friends going to dinner, movies, trade days, museums, BBQ-ing or just hanging out. I also enjoy dressing up and going to the theater, ballet, opera, etc. I like to ride my bike and even had a basket added to the front so I can take my little dog, Hollywood, with me. My goal is to ride the entire Trinity Trails.

I enjoy road trips and travel but not near as often as I would like. I like to curl up with a good book and have quiet snuggle time too. I work out on a fairly regular basis and I like trying new things and new places. I enjoy gardening and working in the yard. I bought my first home Valentines Day 3 years ago and I have fun making improvements on it. One of my favorite things in life is to see what I haven't seen before and to do/try things I haven't done before. In fact, I'm planning a sky diving venture within the next few months. Scary! Ok, ok, bucket list event.

I'm a pretty smart cookie that is a very organized, energized and kind hearted person. I enjoy doing things to help others less fortunate than myself and trying to make the world a little bit better place.

What I've only recently realized is that even though I'm enjoying my life, I'm missing that special someone. Maybe it's time to see if that special person is out there. I prefer a man who's children are grown but that doesn't exclude someone who has younger kids. I want a man with a kind, honest, loving heart who puts God first and is not afraid to pray out loud. I want a man who is not too set in his ways but who is willing to grow and to share new experiences. I need a man who's willing to be affectionate, to make me feel like I'm important to him and who want's to do special things for me at least every once in a while just as I would him. Simply put...just to love me.

First Date

I would like to spend the time quietly getting to know each other, finding out if we enjoy one anothers company and share that elusive spark.
