Ok, first of all, if you look at my profile, but don't message me, I'll assume you're not interested. Oh..and if I looked at your profile, but didn't say anything, it may be because you have it set so that I'm not allowed to because I'm slightly too far away. yea...you should fix that. ;) Now that that's out of the way, on to the main show...

I'm 29 and I'm still in college...just started on a 6th major change I started in computer science, then went to mass communications, and after that, I wanted to do pre-med. Oh yea..then I almost went into paleontology. Oh..and I spend a year as a Middle School Education major (science/math emphasis) after that. However...my employer decided that since I already have a degree, they wouldn't reimburse tuition for another unless it's company related. So...I'm now an information technology major and have been for over a year. I currently work part-time at Fedex as a Ramp Agent. I've been at Fedex over 8 years now. By the end of the Spring 2010 semester, I should be able to take my Cisco networking certification exam. After that, I'll most likely be leaving Fedex unless I can find a networking job there.

I have a lot of different hobbies. For one, I collect movies. I have over 550 DVDs. I also have a thing for sci-fi...especially Star Trek, Star Wars, Transformers, and Alien/Predator. Just to clarify, no, I am not a "trekkie", but I am more than just an average fan. I'm really into dinosaurs and sharks (extinct or otherwise). I have a HUGE fossil collection. I actually buy and sell fossils on eBay and for a while I was making almost as much money doing that as I was at my real job. I like to go out and dig for fossils on the weekends sometimes. I haven't gone much recently, but last year, I went almost every other weekend. I would like to start camping again like I did when I was a kid. I like to travel when I can. In the past few years, I've been to Eureka Springs, AR to stay in the haunted Crescent Hotel (featured last year on the Sci Fi channel show, Ghosthunters); Gulf Shores, AL; Hot Springs,AR; and New Orleans, LA. I took French for 4 years and I know a little Japanese. I'm a musician although I haven't touched a real instrument in 2 years. I played euphonium in my high school and college marching bands. I was also in jazz band. I also play bass and guitar. Me and a friend from college used to record some stuff with a multi-track recorder. We were actually invited to open for a few major label groups until they found out there were only 2 of us. I also used to make cartoons and simple internet games for my website mindgamesstudios.com. It was pretty popular for a while and I had a small following on a few websites. I was invited to do work for a few larger websites..like newgrounds.com, liquidgeneration.com, icebox.com, collegeclub.com, and a few others that aren't around anymore. A few bands contacted me to do some work. I was also webmaster for Lick 106.3 in Little Rock for a little while. I was really into web/graphic design and all when I got out of high school.

Honestly, a first date for me needs to be something where we have the opportunity to get to know each other. Maybe a trip to the zoo or a museum and then dinner somewhere nice. After that, maybe a club or just somewhere to sit and talk. I know that probably sounds dorky. Movies are good, but you can't talk in a movie. To me, that's more of a second or third date thing.
