Being in the Navy I've been able to accomplish one of my goals in life pretty early which was traveling. I've been to four different continents and visited over 40 countries. Not many people can say that in their lifetime and i've accomplished this in under eight years. I'm an Aerographer's Mate in the Navy in which I provide weather forecasts to the fleet. Before you ask, I'm not one of those guys that stands up on TV and gives the weather.

When i'm not deployed I enjoy many activities like going to the beach, golfing, wineries, fishing, camping, hiking, I pretty much do it all. I'm about to take some surf lessons so that should be an exciting new experience. I also spend some of my weekends doing some home improvement in and outside my house.

Again I'm a pretty versatile and open minded person. I'm usually the catalyst in social gatherings, becasue of my life experiences. I am blessed to have so many friends in the area, but most of those friends have wives or girlfriends. I can easily meet other people with no problem but just thought that I shouldn't limit myself to the traditional way of meeting people. There are some great people out there, and I've met some pretty good people online before when I first joined the Navy.

First dates shouldn't be anything to overwelming. So probably just a drink (beer or coffee) and just get a chance to feel the person out.
