I enjoy reading History, Philosphy, Religion, American Literature and Sporting periodicals. I'm relatively physical, I run three days a week and attend a gym twice a week. I take pleasure in listening to Jazz, Blues, Folk, Classic Rock, Soul/Rhythm & Blues and contemporary Christian. At this stage of my life there have been many achievements, more micro than macro. Opportunities to conquer new goals are always looming on the horizon, beyond that, my personal characteristics, well; I'm a good listener and I am not afraid of commitment. Humor, laughter and old fashion fun is a perfect balance to my occasional busy life. Although, I'm not immune from classiccal topics such as: politics, race, religion, economics, sex, and the like. What I find attractive in a women, well; integrity, intelligence, independence, humor/whit passion, compassion and romance. Friendship,companionship, romance and beyond; hinges on mutual respect, chemistry and the willingness of each partner. When I was 14 years old, I read something on the back of a album cover that resonated with me to the present day. It said, "Life is one long reach, the ongoing search for self, and relationship, enjoy".

Our first date, dining out. A wonderful restaurant with an attractive menu and cuisine. The location and atmosphere is as important as the food, (although, mom and pops are great also). Later, well that all depends, probably some entertainment such as dancing or music, (perferably Jazz). A movie is nice, maybe walking in a populated venue enjoying the sight and sounds of the activitivies around us. Then again, a nice quiet walk on the beach, absorbed in conversation, taking in the sounds of nature, provides an oppertunity to engage with little or no distractions. However, meeting for a cup of coffie or the beverage of your choice can be conducive as well. Nevertheless if my date desired to do something entirely different or choose something that she preferred, I would be more than happy to accomodate her. Flexebility and versatility are a part of my repertoire. Hey, let's seize the moment, and enjoy life.
