I am not "The Perfect Guy for Any Woman", I'm Imperfect, but in very interesting ways, I don’t even claim to be the “Tolerable Guy for a Few Women”, but I am certain I am the right man for ONE woman. I find that what you are doing is far less important than who you are spending that time with, so I am open to new experiences, but I draw the line at Skydiving......or the MALL on Black Friday =0)

I am more of a "Hold the Door Open, Bring the Car around in the Rain" kind of guy.
To put it bluntly I am confident that I am a Man, and don’t feel the need to act a fool to demonstrate it. I know how to cook, and I know how to weld =0)

Divorced in 2002 after 13 years, I have custody of my 2 lovely daughters who are now "out on their own". I consider myself a pretty complete person, so I am not looking for my other half, but my better half. I am not needy, but not distant either.

Since everyone seems to cover dining and travel, I enjoy dining out, but am seldom seen at any place fancier than Cracker Barrel or Texas Roadhouse. As regards travel I do enjoy it, but prefer to drive or take the bike, "getting there is half the fun". I Volunteer with our local Theatre Group here in Rantoul. I enjoy the acting because of the camaraderie, and while I thought the most difficult part would be memorizing lines, I find instead that it is keeping it fresh through all the performances. I enjoy Tent Camping, and have been referred to as a “Foo Foo” Camper. But I am a dry and comfortable camper! I also enjoy Motorcycling.

I am looking for the one who is with me because she wants to be with me, not because she needs to be with me. Intelligent, with a sense of humor. Some one who opens the map and looks for ways to avoid the Interstate. Physical attraction is important, but dependability more so, since a lasting relationship is hard work. Pet Lover a must, I have an Irish Setter mix, and a case of “cat happened”.

As to email, it is perhaps a good way to "break the ice", but is a very sterile form of communication, and at the end of the day you are sitting in front of a computer...typing....typing.

Even though you won't find my photo in the Post Office, I understand the Internet is a wide open and potentially scary "place". So I would likely suggest we meet somewhere for coffee/dinner, with deference to YOUR comfort zone. It would be someplace quiet enough for conversation. You would be the center of attention because you deserve to be, my cell phone will be turned off. I would want to pick up the check, but am flexible.
