For the world you are but a person, but for (the) one person you can mean the world.People say life is a journey. Some people search for a certain destination, some just enjoy that journey. Some take a car to reach the next station or mommy and daddy put them there, others have to take a rough and dusty road or a detour to get there and sometimes life doesn't seem to be fair, but I think the reward for taking challenges is worth the effort.
We always will be with people next to us, randomly or just because we share the same goals, the same destination, walking together for a while, maybe until we realize that our ways split at a certain point and that we have to let go.
Some people encourage you to walk a path that nobody went before, or keep going the rough and dusty road and when you start thinking it's the wrong way, turning around, they are still there, giving you the smile you just needed. They make even a rough road a valuable and nice experience, they make a cloudy day brighter, they inspire you when you think you get lost, it simply feels good to know they are there.
These people are the ones who make you feel like coming home, no matter where you are, in time or place. They are best friends and I believe that lasting relationships are based on this.
I also believe that happiness basically depends on your own attitude towards life and the people you surround yourself with.
Someday, when looking back, I still don't want to feel sorry for the traces I left in other peoples life. I am looking for a friend, someone who shares the same idea, someone who knows about rough roads, who appreciates kindness, honesty, passion, loyalty and respect, someone who can find some inspiration in a different opinion rather than a reason to argue about, who is impatient and curious for the next day and who can see something beautiful and adorable in simple things, maybe just because they are not always perfect. You will get the same in return.
I prefer this over things like hair color, race, height, weight or whatever, but some chemistry is important though.
...some rambling thoughts about things that I consider as priceless:- sunsets (I am a sucker for it, since they seem to be like a promise for the next day)
- the joy and the hug of a little kid (is there anything else which is pure like that?)
- friends (especially if this covers your family as well)
- health (just as life, it's that one big chance that won't return when ****ed up)
- talent and intelligence (which is not the same as education)
- speechless moments (when eyes speak louder than voices)
- ice cream (... or two of it) HEHE
for the record: I live in Europe/Germany
AAHHHHHHH... I am 46! I am pretty sure I entered that correctly and it was okay for a while, but POF even doesn't want to accept changes now. Weird... but nice LOL
UPDATESometimes I was asked why I visit profiles more than once without saying hello. Usually there are restrictions in these profiles (75 miles range, age... whatever) that I do respect and that actually keep one one from replying, but I also don't remember those restrictions before opening a profile. I really don't want to bother somebody with unwanted messages ;)
Thanks for understanding.
YET ANOTHER UPDATEOkay okay... you find me laughing... Really, no offense here

So a nice hello to all 'private investigators' on here ;) Is there actually a hidden camera running somewhere? Anyway, best of luck to you too, the big fish is probably around... LOL
...this site really is an experience... (just a random thought) ;)
