I'm newly single and thought I'd check out this online dating thing. I'm looking for a hot partner in crime who has a wicked sense of humor and a tendency for randomness (is that even a word?)

Favorite things: pancakes, happy hour with friends, anything that makes me laugh, Vodka Seltzers with lime, warm beaches, Oregon summers and my boys. I happen to have two mini partners in crime, ages 5 and 10. They are a constant source of hilarity and keep me on my best behavior..er, most of the time (ok some of the time). Don't worry, I'm not looking for a 'baby daddy' so don't start running just yet. ;o)

In addition to my human children I also have two furry babies, Mandy and Riley Pantaloons. I have a definite soft spot for cats and am occasionally told that I'll be that 'crazy cat lady' when I get old. That's cool because I'll be a really fun, hot old lady.

Books: anything by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Alice Hoffman or Jodi Piccoult; Wicked by Gregory Maguire, The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Domingue, Marley and Me by John Grogan, Plane Insanity by Elliott Hester (a MUST read if you fly frequently)

Movies: Office Space, The Ring, Family Stone, Napoleon Dynamite, Singles, Anchorman, Forrest Gump, Catch And Release, The Wizard Of Oz, The Notebook, Meet the Parents, Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Elf, The Doors

TV Shows: LOST (I'm a bit obsessed), Weeds, Breaking Bad, The Office, CSI Vegas, Cops, Flash Forward, Air Emergency

Music: You'll never find me without my iPod!! Faves are 60's, cheesy 70's/disco, 80's new wave, hair metal, classic rock and some hip hop thrown in for good measure. Pretty much everything but country or jazz. Anything that will make me get up and shake it is always great! I love to dance but don't do clubs very often; I hate the meat market scene. I have been known to throw impromptu dance parties in my living room though..

Activities: I'm not super active or into sports (watching or playing) but I do love being outdoors on a warm day especially if it involves being in or near the water. I work out 4-5 times per week and recently added running to the routine. I think I'm actually starting to enjoy it.. go figure!! I took my first trip to Hawaii this summer and fell in love! I didn't get the chance to try surfing, maybe next time. I'll also admit that I'm not a huge fan of camping. I'm definitely not high maintenance but I like indoor plumbing and beds. :o)

I'm open to suggestions. Meeting somewhere for a drink might be a good start? Unless you're an axe murderer. Then you can just do us both a favor and ignore my profile completely. Warning: law enforcement in family. :oP
