In Ventura for now, to help care for my elderly folks..(whom I love and appreciate)....Mom & Dad need some help. This has been very tough, and emotional seeing your beloved folks slowly fade away. I will go through it all the way with Them. - We are tight, after many years apart:..Looking for some support from the compassionate. This is Long term, so I only desire a friend that sticks it out with me in this time, then who knows, I just cant think that far ahead. I have rare energy for my age, but I do know , lately I have been getting a little worn out, sooooooo....I need some good fun outside of my present situation. I was born and raised here in Ventura, so its not new to me, but very different from Oregon and Maui where I have been living. I miss Oregon for certain reasons, but not the winters!
I choose not to whine about things that don't work out, or have a bad attitude, or try to fix situations, It is, what it was...Things meant to be will last, even friendships, if not, they just fade away sadly. .... My dear ole Momma & Dad have been married 56 years happily. ......

Do not care for dating .......If I click with someone.....we will let down our hair quickly and know naturally, without drama.....or Big promises...but let 2 people unfold themselves freely without fears.....so I don't really go on dates, but will go do something with someone cool, If they ask me and we mesh as a new friend! ....I guess I'm not really looking, but if I did look, it will be with a friend that knows she wants of me as a friend, and will make the effort to keep that friendship, no matter what if its right! I will not, and do not need to chase women, but for once, would like to meet a woman that just doesn't talk about life friends, but fights to keep that friendship no matter what, in a wise way without being pressuring, and without letting emotions rule, and have power over any personal wants or desires, or where we go in life together or apart. Simply said......For once Id like to desire a woman that is able, and in a position with patience to develop a friendship with me, that is real and lasts, because if it is one based on selfishness, of me or you not getting what we want, It wont work out. Have my back all the way, as I would her. My mother and father for over 50+ years were and are still this way. I LIKE that. No little check lists deciding when friendship is over...I will Run down the road quickly, as should you! ! I want the safety that I had with my wife before she passed> She knew what other women don't often understand, how to keep a man balanced> very cool experience for me ,and she was awesome. She wouldn't let stupid emotional BS and gossips destroy us :)I think I'm a cool man catch for a nice, fun fit friendly woman, that can Rock a woman's world....I will just wait, if at all, the right woman sees that for herself, and not me trying to sell myself cheaply to convince her.

*Maybe LIVE Music...(I play Guitar and sing FOR many years AND BANDS, ..with some cool FRIENDS)....sweating & Dancing,.........Maybe a long Harley ride.....maybe the islands or the Beach......maybe good foods, drinks etc;s and privacy .....maybe camping...who knows..maybe something crazy....maybe a Bar B Q.....hiking, fishing, some sports..maybe just chilling out at home laughing, playing and being silly:.(actually, I am a very private man>but not antisocial or stuck up!).....sky's the limit with the right friend. As I said, dating isn't for me
Could go to Oregon,Hawaii,Mexico or BC to hike,fish play for a month or 2 ...when I free, heck even a DAY OR 2 would be cool!..Im a good Pacific NW & Oregon guide. with some very good hiking snow capped mountains........and beauty. I will be doing this myself at the end of June,July August,, maybe Sept. along with awesome Biker rides, good music, dancing all night, with some good fun.!
