I have been divorced for almost 5 years and I never thought I would date again, but someone told me "never say never." And so here I am. I am a single mom with two teenage daughters - 19 and 17. My girls will be gone soon and it is time to start thinking about the next stage of my life. I am happy, healthy and fun. I love to laugh. My friends say that I live "out loud." I can be sarcastic (in the nicest way possible) and I have a dark sense of humor (I say dark, my friends say sick). I find humor in almost any situation. I am a Colorado native. I am looking forward to a time when I can live any place I want. I love to sit outside on a nice day and drink a beer or two. I am a beer snob. No Coors or Bud for me. I'm afraid of heights. I love all the seasons, but fall is my favorite. I am smart and funny and love life. I am independent, honest and don't play games. I am pretty laid back and very positive. I love all kinds of music: Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett, Kid Rock, Patsy Cline, Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, classical and jazz and blues. Not so much hip hop or rap. I like to watch the snow fall from bed and then go outside and shovel; mow my own lawn; hang out in coffee shops, antique stores, bookstores; go to hockey games and Rockies. Some of my favorite places in Colorado are Crested Butte, Glenwood Springs, Redstone and Minturn. I like putt putt golf, good champagne, pedicures, massages, and being pampered. I like to read, watch movies, talk with my kids, hang out with friends. Chocolate. Hockey is my favorite sport. The color red. Mexican food. Oh, and I love my car and have to admit, I like to drive fast.

So, now what do I want in a man? I want someone who is happy and content in his life, laid back and has a great sense of humor. Someone who is independent and honest. Someone to teach me how to have fun and try new things. Go out to dinner, see a movie, walk in the park, swing on the swings, take a road trip.

What I do not want: needy, game playing, just sex, crazy, stalker . . .
