Looking for someone special - not special needs.

Try not to take anything too seriously - then again, as well as all the fun life has to offer there's a serious side too and I take an interest in world affairs.

Hobbies include playing music (mostly blues, soul and rock - some house music and breakbeat stuff too), playing cricket, backgammon, travel and enjoying the arts (live concerts, theatre, clubbing, galleries and film).

I'm open to new experiences and meeting new people, but I'm definitely keen to settle down and start a family.

It would sound big headed if I just banged-on about why I'm so unique and fabulous, but I am interesting, erudite, not completely stupid, have a hugely varied work and social life and a wicked sense of humour.

My taste in music is very wide and I like anything good in most genres. Especially I'm into blues, rock n roll, old soul and groovy rock. Clubbing-wise I like the more broken down DC10 type stuff - also like funky house, chill-out and disco too.

First dates are funny things - you're checking me out - I'm checking you out, what's going to happen, do we like each other? I'm a fan of picnics, beaches, good restaurants, movies and concerts. Equally, I'm happy strolling along a country path or the side of the Thames. Ultimately it's all about how we get along and chemistry.
