About Me
I’ve concluded that writing these intros can be an exercise in futility…because guys have no idea what women really want to read…lol Having said that, let me follow the lead of a really funny profile that one of you ladies wrote.
-NO…it isn’t necessary for guys to put shirtless pictures on our profile, but since we don’t know what will actually catch your attention it sometimes gets thrown into the mix.
-pictures of our cars, motorcycles, boats, or electronic toys of any type…see the above explanation.
-if a guy’s initial emails or conversations with you deteriorate into anything inappropriate before you’ve had a chance to determine if you even like talking to him, then he is a GUY not a MAN…there is a difference…LOL
Some questions that always pop in my head when I read some of the horror stories you ladies recant about internet dating on your profiles: -Ladies, why do you put out of focus photos on your profile? -5 pictures of yourself and in NONE of them are you smiling? -1 slightly fuzzy picture of yourself with 2 girlfriends and 7 travel pics that don’t show YOU?
Making fun of this whole process of internet dating is almost a necessity…it’s tough in here! My outlook is to keep it light and fun. I’d love to find someone that I really connect with, but that’s a lot of pressure….so I start with just trying to find someone I can have some fun and good conversation with. I have a large variety of interests, many active ones as well as intellectual ones that I would love to share with someone and hopefully get introduced to theirs as well. I won’t tell you what an incredible guy or catch I am, but I think I’m someone you’d like to take home to mom. I’m passionate about my interests, friends and family…I’m a good listener and one of the steadiest friends you could find. I'd just like to find someone I’d describe the same way.
First Date
People put WAY too much pressure on first dates. I have a different outlook: it's a chance to go out and have some fun (whether it's something out of the norm or just going to dinner), meet someone new and have some good conversation. Any more pressure than that spoils the date and the chance to have fun. If things click, THEN you stress the 2nd date! LOL
