Hey there! I'm a 28 year old single mom of two wonderful boys. You must have or love children to be successful at winning my heart. They're part of the package, no tradesies. I'm absolutely not looking for a new father for them. They already have that. I just want to make it clear that they come first, and it's impossible for me to make plans at a moment's notice.

I'm the type that is happy 99.9% of the time. I crave laughter and try to keep everyone around me laughing as well. I love being outdoors and enjoy all manner of outdoor sports, especially fishing, canoeing, swimming, and hiking. I've always wanted to learn how to snowboard, so this winter will be the first time I take the plunge. ;) I love darts, and play once every few weeks with my coworkers. I also enjoy drinks at a pub scarfing down the messiest chicken wings I can find, dancing the night away with friends, hanging out at a friend's house kicking total butt at Rock Band, watching UFC/hockey/baseball (a girl that enjoys guy shows? Shocker!) or just hopping into the car for an adventure. Sadly, I also enjoy shopping way too much for my own good. (Shoes! Purses! Yay!) It's the girl in me screaming to be set free. (I don't let her out too often. She's a b with an itch)

I'm an odd duck, as evidenced by my love of all things eight legged, creepy, slithery, or otherwise scary. My greatest pleasure in life is to try and scare myself to death, so look for me at an amusement park riding the biggest roller coasters, or at the movies taking in the latest horror flick. I'm a strong willed individual and would prefer my potential suitor to be equally strong willed. Timidity gets you nowhere with me. I'm also sarcastic and biting to a fault. If I tease your unibrow, it's only because I like you. :)

I listen to mostly alternative, but I enjoy country and pop as well. The last concert I attended was NIN and Jane's Addiction. I rock out in my truck when no one is listening, otherwise I tend to make people shriek and run away from me.

I guess I should put a small blurb in here about what I'm looking for. This in no way disqualifies those of you who aren't any of these things, but it certainly doesn't help your case either. (kidding! kidding!) I'm looking for someone that lives fairly close to me (sorry, Torontonians), I would like someone that is still taller than me when I'm glammed up in heels, but it's not a dealbreaker. A great smile is a huge bonus. :D To continue this superficial list, I crave confidence. The relationship just won't work if you're a 'yes' man and won't put me in my place at least occasionally. (Being female, you must let me win most of the time) Taking the reins and leading the way makes me swoon.

Edit: I'm adding an amendment to my profile due to a conversation I just had. If you're a Habs or Sens fan, walk on by. Leafs fans show eternal optimism and good taste and those are qualities I'm looking for in a man. ;)

Edit Take Two: I was recently told that girls on POF put 'UFC' and 'hockey' on their profile solely for attracting men. Ugh. Way to bring down the overall honesty of this site, you swamp donkeys. In reality, I've been watching UFC since the reign of Gracie and Shamrock. I've been a Leafs fan for as long as I can remember... long enough to know that I haven't been alive long enough to see them win the cup. So... there. :)
