I have lived all over Northern Virginia since I was two when my parents moved here from Indiana. Went to VT for undergrad and UMD for grad school and just never left the area once I was done. I have a large family, four siblings and two nieces that I try to see as often as possible. Love animals and have two cats so if you hate cats (or at least won't pretend to like mine) then I'm not your girl.

I like to try new things each year. One year it was Italian lessons and well that didn't really pan out. Last year I picked up golf and this year I started running and completed my first 10 miler and have another one scheduled for the fall. I play fun random sports like kickball, dodgeball, and bowling, yes I'm actually on a bowling team in the winter. We're not good but we have fun.

I love to travel and try to go on several trips a year. I went to St. Maarten in the spring and Europe (Italy, Austria, and Germany) in the fall. I'm already planning out trips for next year, probably Costa Rica and back to Europe. I don't actually relax on vacation and am always running around looking for new things to do, see, and try.

I love to cook/bake and watch a lot of shows on the Food Network. One of my girl friends and I are considering cooking classes in the fall/winter just to learn some new tricks in the kitchen.
