I spent 2 months on safari in Africa last year, it changed the way I saw my life and the people around me. I do all the normal things, eat.. sleep... shower... but I also do some different things. I scuba dive, train animals (dolphins, sea lions and even some monkies), milk cows and lifeguard.

Right now I am starting my first year in Nursing school. I really like emergency medicine, I'm an EMT-wilderness and a rescue scuba diver. I want to train a search and rescue dog someday. I'm an over achiever in most areas of my life but a slacker at heart, I enjoy a night at home watching TV as much as going out to a club. It doesn't matter where I am as long as the conversation is stimulating and it doesn't smell that bad. When you've trained search and rescue dogs in the local dump you'll understand... it doesn't matter how cool the person or how great the conversation: you are in a dump.

My new life goal is to climb the seven summits of the world, I already tackled Kilimanjaro in Africa. Next I think will be Denali in Alaska. I want to learn Kiswahili, the language spoken in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. I know a few phrases from my last trip there... n'gombe mazuri (nice cow), jambo (hello), caribu (welcome or your welcome), poa (cool), and some others. Its always good to know how to say "nice cow" in as many languages as possible. The masai use cows to purchase wives, the masai warrior must give the woman's father a certain number of cows depending on her rank and beauty... a Paris Hilton would go for 20 cows. And the Masai wife must build her own mud hut after she is wed to the warrior... I don't think thats very fair. He gets to have as many wives as he can feed but they have to build their own houses. Did I mention I know A LOT of random information?
