I possess a fairly independant spirit... but feel there is nothing better than sharing life with a best friend ..Although I have a contemporary approach to life, I also enjoy the adventure of taking the unbeaten path...Being a positive person, I try to turn challenges into opportunities.

I'm not into traveling the world but like to take short sporadic day trips in the countryside or either visits my family in QC and the many friends in the US if possible.
Regular Activities: movies w/popcorn at home on my 52'' HDTV(lol..the new toy)or at the theater, bowling, yoga, fitness classes, biking, short easy hikes, long walks with Flyer the JackRussel & 1 cat. Ya, she follows. I'm not the outdoorsy type; if I camp it would be on a huge Winnebago.. I have become a night hawk so I definitely don't do mornings... ;)
I like cooking at home with friends, family or just a tête-à-tête, and fine dining with a good vintage. I'm very clean and organized so I expect you to respect this about me. Music from the 70s,80s,90s, soft rock, it all depends on the mood but pls no rap..its torture!!
I'm social, helpful, analytical and opinionated but I do listen to you and what you have to say. There is always 2 sides to the coin...and of course you need to express your true feelings. Most men are not able to..they think they could become vulnerable!! If there's no truth in the communication, then there is no development in the relationship. Further, I believe in old fashioned romance..and am looking for somebody who thinks likewise~a gentleman, respectful and observant...someone who will take the time to get to know me not expecting instant gratification..(know what I mean guys??)

Finding your 'soulmate' on the Internet is a process of sorting and eliminating all the weirdos, lyers & insincere players. 'Emotionally available’ ‘No baggage’ means what exactly? The slim fit are those that don’t have a gut hanging and are less than 300-pounds. Obese is not slim. Seniors means NOT young and more like how to deal with existing arthritis, heart problems, wrinkled skin and a host of other diseases...and the database at this point gets smaller and smaller.. honesty means don't fantasize. Your passions and likings are yours and might not be mine. Do we really have to match that too?
What is 'real' is the sharing of every day living~~cooking, cleaning, pickup stuff, dusting, family togetherness, walking the dog, don't see too many advertising that!
