My hobbies are the stock and commodity markets, running, and martial arts. I'm easy going about other subjects though.

I quit smoking about 1 1/2 years ago and gained about 30 pounds. Through running, I have lost the 30 pounds. I have competed in a half-marathon in Dallas and have another in Oct. in Tyler. Then I would like to run a marathon. In February there is a ultra endurance run in Huntsville that I plan on competing in.

I like to read mainly non-fiction and watch the History or Discovery channels occasionally. I try to learn when I can about various subjects. I believe there is always something new to learn. If not about something else, then about how much we don't actually know.

I like most kinds of music except rap and some hip hop. I have recently enjoyed listening to Enya.

I would like to find a nice woman that's able to understand me and communicates well. Those are the two main areas of emotional value to me. I'm not perfect or try to be, though I try to be my best.
