Pardon me if this sounds sporadic, I'm new at this. :P

My name is Kristen. I am a 19 year old Sophmore attending Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Living in my own apartment practically on campus and loving every minute of it. I am an illustration major. I ride horses in my spare time (training and competing horses in the equestrian sport "Eventing"), though with college I haven't had time to ride often. Animals are a love of mine- I've kept/worked with everything from snakes to cats/dogs to horses.

Cooking is a passion of mine, and I am always practicing and testing recipes. I love to read and watch movies, and I'm open to pretty much any type of either.

Television-wise, I watch mostly comedy... The Office, 30 Rock, Family Guy, American Dad, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, and more, but I'm a SUCKER for dramas, namely Law and Order (all of them...) and CSI and it's spinoffs. I'll admit I can be a bit of a television nerd as well, my father spurred my interest in Star Trek and I was always in love with The Discovery Channel and The History Channel.

Politically I'm democratic/liberal. I was raised to understand everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I am always up for a political debate if it sparks the person's interest. I respect a person who keeps up with the current news.

I love to travel. I've been all around the US with an educational program based on paleontology when I was in middle school, and traveled to Italy, Spain, and France with the People to People student ambassador program. In the future I'd love to travel to Europe again.

I love being with friends and am open with them and pretty much anyone else I meet. I have been told by the aforementioned friends I am a mature, mothering, and caring person.
