A little about me: I'm 25 years old. My parents and most of my extended family are from Chicago, I was born in Idaho (random...I know) but have lived in the Raleigh area since I was 8 months old. So I'm practically a native of NC, but raised by Chicagoan parents so there's a bit of North / South disconnect there!

I'm a graduate of UNC-Charlotte. I was a dance education major and now I'm a dance teacher at a middle school. I moved back to the Raleigh area and got a great place near my school. I feel so lucky to get such a great job right out of college! Besides dance and teaching, I like all the arts (plays, musicals, music, art, etc etc), just recently got into some stuff at a local radio station, going out and having an relaxed time (pretty much over the club scene, but bars can be OK...I like the ones you don't have to dress up for!), being with friends, spending some nights in and just watching a movie or some TV.

It's hard to describe what I'm looking for. I like to think that I'm one of those people who has all different types of friends and that I'm pretty open to different personalities. It's all about how I click with someone, not necessarily what they look like, what type of job they have, what color hair they have, etc. I'd like a guy to be funny, loyal, honest, and sweet. I'm tired of the guys who are full of themselves.

Addition: I hate to sound mean here, guys, but I'm a teacher. If you don't use good grammar and spelling, I WILL judge you about it. It's one thing to have a typo by accident, or to abandon certain structure rules to make it sound more conversational, but it's lazy and very off-putting if it looks like you put absolutely no thought or care into the email you send me. No capitalized letters, misspellings everywhere, writing me what looks like a whole paragraph but it's really just one long run-on sentence...you get the idea, right? The only reason this little warning is here is because of the horrible emails I have received. Also, it helps me check to see who actually reads my profile. Have a good day :)
