I just moved to Alexandria VA and don't know anyone so I'm looking to meet new people. I just got done grad school and moved from South Jersey to start a new job- so I'm doing that whole 9 to 5 grown up working thing for the first time. No clue what to say beyond that so I'll just go through the plentyoffish list..

1) Talk about your hobbies
When I hear the word hobbies, I think of like stamp collecting and bird watching. I don't really do anything like that. I'm pretty normal when I'm not at work I like to go to the movies, watch tv, go out to eat, hang out w/ friends... I am addicted to DVR and am a bit of a tv junkie. Some of my favs are Scrubs, Seinfeld, and Arrested Development. I'm fairly nerdy and watch the discovery channel and random history channel shows. I like to go to yoga and cook- I'm Italian so I love anything with garlic and olive oil. I've also just made a mental note to get some actual hobbies.

2. Goals/aspirations

Traveling is a big one- I'd like to see a lot of places in Europe.

3. What makes me unique

I have no idea how to answer that... But on a side note, I love dogs and I think people that don't like pets can't be trusted; same goes for cat people.

4. Music

I listen to a lot of different stuff- you have an equal chance of a Biggie or Bruce cd playing in my car right now. I listen to talk radio a lot too (although since being in VA I found that the radio sucks and there are more religious stations than music or news)

Drinks are probably best bc I think everyone has had that dinner date that you wish was over before the appetizers even get to your table..
