I must be doing something wrong! Do you ever feel that way? Do you keep writing &/or meeting people whose profiles seem to say one thing and when you meet them they are way different? Well, that happens to me so let me explain it this way:

I am a fun loving, interesting, intelligent, optimistic, active, in shape, attractive, adventurous, shapely, independent, well read, humorous, amorous, introspective, sensitive woman. Let me add passionate and compassionate to that!

I've been traveling a lot in the last 2 1/2 years, and there's still a lot to see and do, both in and out of this country. It would be great to have someone to share the fun!

I cry over man's inhumanity to man. I am liberal and believe that we are all a part of the whole, we want the same things for our lives, and deserve to be loved and honored. I am pro choice. I hate the war(s) we are in right now, particularly the killing and maiming of innocent people. I believe that we have someone in office who can turn our country around and help us be the best we can be, if only people would band together to that goal.

I read fiction and non-fiction. I have two cats, Felix & Oscar (the Odd Couple) who act like Felix & Oscar. I laugh a lot, I'm silly and crack myself up. I love music, especially live music. It's so much fun to go to an e-Town concert, Red Rocks, etc. Love Reggae, Blues, Zydeco, and everything else except hard rock. Movies are fun, with popcorn even more fun. Taking a hike, having a cup of coffee, reading books, ice skating, riding my bike. The Art Museum, Zoo, exhibits at the Museum of Natural History. Love to go to lectures & exhibitions. Want to try African drumming, like to paint, work out regularly, and on and on.

I'm just looking for a man who would enjoy a woman like that. I'd hope he would have some ideas and ideals of his own. But on the important stuff, the things that we could bond with, it'd be nice to feel similarly. I love a good conversation with give and take, even if we are on opposite sides of an issue, as long as we respect each other's opinions.

Please don't reply to me if you're a conservative, if you watch Faux News, or if you are angry, or a pessimist, or critical, or bigoted, or just plain boring with no life of your own. I will be interested in you, who you are, what you think, what you believe. Please be available to be interested in me too.

Our first date.... I'd like to see your smile, hear your voice, look into your eyes and talk to you to find out about who you are and what you think. Where we do that is unimportant to me. We should go wherever we are both comfortable.
