| | I'll admit I belong to a generation way before my own when it comes to my tastes for music and fashion in spite of the fact that I'm up-to-date in everything else, and I can't live without the modern technologies. Retro I am, so is my belief in gentlemanly behaviors: I open the door, pull up the chair, know my way around the kitchen, act respectfully, I adored mother till the last day and miss her greatly.
I, can't toss a football, but can handle a power tool like a pro, and yet waltz you "The Beautiful Blue Danube" at a Viennese Ball (was a ranked ballroom dance competitor), I'm also a hoofer, tap dancer that is; can't name any of the top 40's, but can croon the likes of Sinatra; can't sit through the NASCAR, but can watch "Casablanca" for the 50th time, and still be touched by the farewell scene at the airport. Rare, I know, never have been a typical cool guy and never cared to be, but still, maybe that's the right chemistry for that special someone? |

A trip to the concert, theatre, art exhibit, dinner with music of Gershwin or Chopin softly floating, black tie outing if the occasion should arise. I had a good time once developing films in a darkroom - digital still ain't everything. |
