I have 8 year old twin boys that I see couple of days a week, they are my life so if you are not ready for that do not bother reading the rest...
With that clear, I am a musician, learning to play the bass, piano, a little bit of drums and I've been a DJ since I was 15. I'd like to meet someone who loves music. I think I am fun to be around, nice and honest. I exercise (jogging) often... At least more than I should. I am fit, healthy and good looking (I think, at least that's what people say), I dress well (I mean, I try), so I should expect a minimum from the woman I am seeing. The way she looks and cares for herself (clean hands, feet, teeth) is important but not as much as her being nice and caring.
I love going to the movies and I have a lot of activities I would love to share with that special person, Sky and Scubadiving, biking, skiing and eventually triathlons (one day). I am willing to try the things she likes and enjoy it with her.
I am not obsessed with going out as outdoor activities should not be mandatory, so I am not interested in women who can not spend the week-end home doing... Nothing...
I work 9-5 and make enough to provide for my children, live a decent life, travel and even buy music instruments to pursue that dream of becoming a full time musician (and I will try until my last breath).
I consider life a journey and we have to make it as enjoyable as possible, after all isn't the journey more important than the destination ?

There's much more to say but it'll take pages, so I rather keep it for the third date (given the fact that I will probably let you talk during the first two)... :-)

For a first date I would go to a restaurant and a hidden jazz club with live musicians. Or go on a bike ride, find a nice place under a tree and sit, talk, get to know each other... A picnic would also do fine... I would definitely avoid the clubs or bars or movie theater since you really don't get to talk... The dream first date would be going for a long week-end to Paris were my family lives... But... I wouldn't want to freak her out... :-)
